Hip-hop music. It’s the genre critics love to hate yet imitate. Take The Blaze host Tomi Lahren, who seemed more than thrilled to be featured on the Pusha T & Jay Z track, “Drug Dealers Anonymous.”
The conservative pundit took to Twitter to commend the single after it was released via Tidal on Tuesday (May 31.) It was just a few months ago that Lahren ran Mr. Carter’s name through the trenches when she slammed Beyonce for her Superbowl halftime show performance.
“Your husband was a drug dealer. For fourteen years, he sold crack cocaine,” she said. “Talk about protecting black neighborhoods? Start at home.” Pusha T later revealed to Genius that the clip was the inspiration behind the track.
While many of her supporters took usage of the sample as a dig towards Lahren, she thought quite the opposite.
I intro'd Jay-Z's verse and you think I'm mad…Nah. #drugdealersanonymous

He used a sound bite from me in his rap and you think I take that as a loss? Nah. I'm good. #drugdealersanonymous

I've got 99 problems but trust me, being on your rap ain't one @PUSHA_T #drugdealersanonymous

We can all be proud of our accomplishments. Even selling drugs to kids in the projects. #drugdealersanonymous https://t.co/mXOIDFzgW2

In an effort to capitalize off the moment, Lahren discussed a potential remix to the track with Genius’ Rob Markman on Thursday (June 2). “What are the chances they would ever include me in a music video and would there be a demand for that? I think this could be a very interesting collaboration,” she said.
