Something so sweet recently turned very scary for Tamar Braxton. After a promising run on the latest season of Dancing With The Stars, the singer was rushed to the hospital in the midst of rehearsals on Monday (Nov. 9). The Calling All Lovers artist had just wrapped up a performance in Orlando, Florida with Mary J. Blige the day before and it seems as if the demanding schedule had finally gotten to Braxton in the worst way.

Braxton was originally diagnosed with pneumonia according to multiple reports, but she took straight to her Instagram to give the real deal on her health concerns along with making a big decision in her future of being on Dancing With The Stars in addition to with touring with singer, Kem. Revealing that she was diagnosed with bloodclots in the lungs, she informed fans that her run on DWTS had come to an end, along with her upcoming tour.

“As you all know I will be the first to always encourage anyone to push through any obstacle that comes along one’s way,” she wrote. “But in this case, my health is my current obstacle. .. And in TRUE #tamartian form I must go about this the exact same way as I would anything else. I woke up to a mirror and saw myself this morning and that makes me the winner because that almost wasn’t the case.”
