Despite defaulting on a loan, Kim is calling it a huge "misunderstanding."Some of the luxury accessories for sale included a Chanel Shearling bag listed at $5,900. Kim was also seeking $4,500 for a grey Louis Vuitton handbag. There was also a pair of $1,200 Gucci heels featuring Mink fur as well as $600 Balmain pumps made from plastic.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that Kim and her husband Kroy Biermann received a final default order from their lawsuit with Simmons Bank. The couple owe $226,000 to the bank as well as thousands in interest charges.
The initial lawsuit was filed in July over a loan the couple forfeited on, which was taken out on their Atlanta mansion (valued at $6 million). The reality stars previously managed to avoid the home going into foreclosure despite their ongoing legal problems. However, their troubles with the bank clearly continue.
Kim ZolciakThis isn’t the only debt the couple owe. They also are facing over $1 million in back due taxes from the years 2013, 2017, and 2018, while Kim and their daughter Brielle are also embroiled in lawsuits over unpaid credit card debt, amounting to hundreds of thousands.
Kroy initially filed for divorce from Kim twice this year, but the pair have seemingly reconciled again, after they were seen celebrating their 12th wedding anniversary.
During their separation, Kroy blamed their deteriorating financial situation on Kim’s alleged gambling. He even tried requesting full custody of their minor kids, which Kim was seemingly prepared to fight him on.
The pair continued to cohabitate in their Atlanta mansion during their divorce, but got the police involved on numerous occasions, including a domestic disturbance in which Kim claimed Kroy was keeping her was using her $20,000 mattress after neck surgery.
For now, it hasn’t been confirmed if Kim and Kroy have officially called off their divorce. But if one thing is for sure, it’s that their financial situation keeps getting deeper.
