Nearly two weeks after Hurricane Sandy devastated the East coast, newlyweds Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel volunteered to help clean up Rockaway, Queens Saturday, Nov. 10.

A source tells Us Weekly that Timberlake, 31, and Biel, 30, visited a CVS shopping center with music producer/songwriter Timbaland to pass out knapsacks with food and supplies to victims.

Twitter user @kristiray7 shared a photo of the stars helping out: “Shout out to Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel for serving along side of us in Rockaway and giving the kids something to talk about besides Sandy.”

Singer John Legend also visited Far Rockaway Saturday. “These are my neighbors who are going through this tragedy and loss of property and sometimes loss of life,” Legend told New York 1. “It’s kind of overwhelming, seeing how much people will have to rebuild after this.”

On Nov. 1, Timberlake tweeted,”Taking in the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy . . . my thoughts and prayers go out to everyone that was affected.” Biel also tweeted, “Sending my prayers and love to New York City and to everyone affected by Hurricane Sandy.”
